Family Health, Family Transitions, Supporting Aging Parents In-Person
This class will help you provide support, guidance and resources for anyone helping older adults transition through the stages of aging! Participants will learn from a Medical College of WI Geriatrician, who will review the stages of aging and how to recognize which stage your loved one is in. Local community resources will also be shared, related to living, financial, clinical and other situations often encountered with caregiving.
Presented by Edmund H. Duthie, Jr., MD, FACP, AGSF and Diane Ehn, Vice President of Post-Acute Care for Froedtert Health.
Edmund H. Duthie, Jr., MD, FACP, AGSF is a distinguished professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric and Palliative Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), and the medical director for Froedtert Health Post-Acute Care.
Diane Ehn serves as Froedtert Health Vice President of Post-Acute Care. Diane's responsibilities include developing strong partnerships with nursing homes, home health agencies, DME, hospice, rehab facilities, senior living and long term acute care hosptals.
