Understanding Dyslexia: What it Is, What it's Not, and How to Help In-Person
Dyslexia is the most common reason for reading and spelling problems and it's easy to spot if you know what to look for. This 90 minute presentation will define dyslexia, debunk myths about dyslexia, look at characteristics of dyslexia by age/grade level, give an overview of what's needed to remediate reading and language skills, and provide information on necessary supports. There will be 15 minutes for Q&A at the end. Presented by Kelly Steinke, Director and President of READ Learning Education Services LLC.
