Drum Workshop In-Person
Explore African music and folklore through drumming with the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music! This program will focus on the folkloric music of the African diaspora in the Caribbean. Participants will discover African, Cuban, Haitian, and various cultural traditions as they make music and learn basic rhythm patterns.
This program is presented by Menomonee Falls Public Library and the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music with funding through the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Read Africa Grant.
