Reserving a Meeting Space

The Library's Community Room, Board Room, and Children's Program Room may be reserved by eligible groups of 5 – 100 people when they are not in use for Library Programs.

Study Rooms for 1-6 persons cannot be reserved and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Reservation requests must be made at least three days in advance, and up to 90 days in advance of the requested meeting date. 

You may reserve a space once per month.

Step-by-Step Instruction on How To Reserve a Room

  1. You must have a valid Bridges Library System Library Card to request a reservation.  If you do not have a card, you can apply for a temporary card by navigating to our catalog here. Once you have your new Library Card number, come back here to request a reservation.
  2. Go to the bottom of this page.  Click on "Go To Date" below and select your preferred date.
  3. Click on the name of the room to get more information about the room and its amenities.
  4. If the grid is green for your meeting time, it is available to request. If it is red, then that time slot is already reserved.
  5. Click once on the starting time of your meeting (Remember to include your setup time). (Do not click it again or try to slide the end time).
  6. The system will automatically reserve one hour by changing two boxes to yellow and three boxes to red.
  7. Scroll down and look below the colorful grid you will see the selected room in bold, followed by the start time and date of your reservation.
  8. After the word until you will see a box that shows a time and a date.  Click on the down arrow at the end of the box and use your mouse to select your end time.
  9. If the date or start time is incorrect, click on the icon after the box that looks like a garbage can.
  10. Once you have selected your start and end time Click the blue “Submit Times.”
  11. On the next screen, confirm your selection. 
  12. Click Change if something needs to be changed. (do not use the back button on your browser). The system will take you back to the previous selection screen.
    1. Do not click on the grid again. Instead click on the trash can to start over  
    2. Or click on the down arrow and change your end time.
    3. Repeat step 9 and 10
  13. Read through the Terms and Conditions of using the room.
  14. When done reading, click "Continue" at the bottom of the page.
  15. Fill in the Booking Form.  Items with an asterisk (*) are required.
  16. When the form is complete, click "Submit my Booking."

You will receive an email confirming your request. Please retain this email in the event you need to cancel.

You will receive another email with the Library's approval or denial of your request within a few days.
