Welcome To the CoLab!
The Library has two reservable "CoLab's" located on the second floor. CoLab's can be reserved by individuals or a small group up to 2 times per week. The person reserving the room must have a valid Café Library Card.
The CoLabs offer a comfortable workspace with a Samsung TV Monitor to enhance virtual and collaborative work. Library-owned equipment is available in each CoLab. The furniture in each room can be rearranged, but we kindly request that you restore the room to its original configuration when you end your session.
Both CoLab A and CoLab B have a minimum and maximum seating capacity.

Every individual reserving the space is responsible for ensuring attendance does not exceed the capacity limit or prohibit accessibility. Each room has different furniture and equipment. Be sure to check the listing below, as each room may be best suited for different sized groups and purposes.

Using the CoLab

CoLab's can be reserved up to 2 times per week.

Please Note: If you reserved CoLab A 1 time, and CoLab B 1 time, within the same week, this would equal your 2 weekly reservations.

CoLab's can be reserved up to 3 hours per day.

CoLab's can be reserved up to 2 weeks in advance.

Please note: Library staff may reserve the CoLab's further in advance for Library sponsored services, such as Exam Proctoring.

When using the Samsung TV Monitor, you may not download new Apps onto the TV.

Chairs and tables are available for individuals and small groups. You are allowed to situate the room in a way that best suits the needs of your group. Library staff is unable to assist with the moving of any furniture. When the meeting is concluded, the space must be cleaned up and all furniture must be returned to its original arrangement and condition.

If additional custodial assistance is required to clean or repair either CoLab after a reservation has concluded, a fee may be charged to the Applicant.

The Library reserves the right to enforce fire codes, Americans with Disabilities Act compliance, noise limitations, or any other rule or policy approved by the Library Board.

No exit or entry doors may be locked or barred.

The Library does not provide storage space before or after meetings.

Displays, signs, banners, flags or decoration should not be taped or fixed to any walls, doors, ceilings, or windows within the Library or on Library property.

Candles or other open flames are prohibited.

Non-alcoholic beverages are allowed. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Food is allowed with respect to the cleanliness of the space. The patron is responsible for all setup and cleanup and removal of excess trash and recyclables that do not fit within receptacles in the room.

Participants must adhere to all Library rules, regulations, and policies.

The Library may impose additional reasonable conditions for the use of its spaces to ensure that public or private property is not damaged through use of its facilities, and to ensure that the comfort, convenience, safety, or welfare of the public is not disturbed. The Library, at its discretion, may require the group or organization using the meeting space to provide adequate security services and/or insurance.

Collection of free-will offerings
Meetings where admission is charged in any way (including paying to attend or being asked to donate in order to attend) Business meetings in which payment is exchanged or required
Meetings which fit the criteria listed under Denial of Service, which can be found in our Meeting Space Policies

Use of Library-Owned Audiovisual Equipment
Patron-owned multimedia equipment can be used in either CoLab.
If using Library-owned audiovisual equipment (i.e. Samsung monitor), it is the responsibility of each person using the room to refer to the equipment manual located in each CoLab. Patrons may not download any new Apps onto the Samsung TV. Each person using the room must follow all Library policies, and ask a Library staff member if assistance with equipment is needed.
